Unfortunately, as consumers and investors, we are supporting all of this corruption when we buy GE products and services or when we invest in this company or any of its subsidiaries.  Some may argue that it is impossible to avoid, but in fact there are many competitors for products and services offered by GE.  The bottom line is that the decision is ours.  Will we support and fund these destructive behaviors with our resources or will we take a stand, even if it might be inconvenient, and avoid dealing with or investing in companies like GE?
