The headline above comes from an article (here) by Quentin Fottrell and it paints a bleak picture of the impact of social sites, especially Facebook.  A quick search of the news on the Facebook IPO also exposes some serious concerns from a business and investment perspective.  However, for our purposes, we are concerned with the social and cultural impact from Facebook.  Therefore, Facebook has been selected as our Cultural Polluter of the month.

The articles below, from World Net Daily, give a comprehensive overview of why this month we chose to focus on Facebook.  What seems to be the most disturbing facet of Facebook pollution is that they have the ability to control this corrupt content and activity in the same manner they selectively control Christian content.  Yet they choose not to control it or once they are made aware are very slow to react.  They seem to want few, if ANY, restrictions and their lack of concern and/or action is extremely troubling.
